It can work fine as well. Using all 4 slots also makes adding more memory more costly. If you can get the system with 2 ram modules, thats what I would get.

No just try grouping RAM from the same vendor and speed in the same colour slots. for example i have Hyper X Red at 1600 mhz those are grouped together in the same colour slots in my case blue which are slots 1 and 3 and in slots 2 and 4 (black colour slots) i have kingston value RAM at 1333 mhz.
